Family Update

I'll give you a rundown on the last few weeks. All in all, things have been busy but good.

1. E's dad was in town and they framed up the basement and we have working feverishly on that, hopefully by the end of the week the sheetrock will be in place.

2. I have enrolled A in swim lessons, and I love it. I think I just love being around a pool again. A has been really enjoying it as well. She has a bit of a fear to put her face in the water, but the past few weeks she has been doing great. The only downside is that E really wants to swim and she is just too little to take lessons. Last week A was the "special" kid at preschool so we got to bring treats in, and my mom and dad went and spent some time at school with her. It has helped her get motivated to go again. Thank you Jesus!

3. E is really getting the potty training thing, she usually does not have any accidents during the day. Yippeee!!! She also went to the eye doctor and her eyesight has stayed the same, and she is doing really well with her glasses. Another yippeee! However, she has been really testing these past few weeks and that has been hard, especially when I take her out of the house. We are working her obedience.

4. K has finally been sleeping through the night.

It was E and my birthday this past week so my parents took the girls saturday and saturday night. E and I went on a road trip to Ft. Collins and even got to go to a movie. It was a nice break to spend some QT time with him. Today was his birthday and we celebrated with Dairy Queen ice cream cake.
